On 20th August 2022, the Rotaract Club of Bhavnagar Royal (3060) visited Divya Bhaskar’s Head Office (at Chitra, Bhavnagar) along with the members of the Interact Club of Bhavnagar Royal.
It is said that “A good newspaper is a nation talking to itself.”

We all assembled in the conference room of Divya Bhaskar at 7:00 pm and the chief editor Mr. Tarak Shah welcomed us with refreshments; gave us information about how the press works and the progress they have proudly achieved through these years with their hard work and dedication. Subsequently, one of their staff members gave us a tour of their entire office, machinery department, and printing section. Each staff member was humble and greeted us with a warm smile.
All of us were curious and asked several questions during the entire tour. We learned a lot about the raw materials used like paper and ink and saw the giant printing machines as well. The technical workers on the floor explained to us the dispatch process, and the agents involved in distributing these newspapers 24x7 to every corner of the city and the villages on time. They also referred to them as “The Real Warriors” of their organization as they ensure the delivery even during the extreme weather.
Overall, It was a delightful experience for all of us and the visit was full of knowledge and fun.
